Tam­sin Plax­ton brings more than 30 years of expe­ri­ence as an entre­pre­neur, CEO, and for­mer lawyer to her work with growth-mind­ed lead­ers. She has built, scaled, and suc­cess­ful­ly exit­ed a glob­al busi­ness — and under­stands first­hand the com­plex­i­ty, pres­sure, and oppor­tu­ni­ty that come with lead­ing through change.

As Founder and CEO of Tam­wood, Tam­sin grew the com­pa­ny into a diver­si­fied inter­na­tion­al edu­ca­tion and train­ing group serv­ing thou­sands of stu­dents and pro­fes­sion­als across mul­ti­ple coun­tries. In 2023, she led a suc­cess­ful pri­vate equi­ty trans­ac­tion, guid­ing the com­pa­ny through acqui­si­tion and tran­si­tion. Her career has spanned strat­e­gy, part­ner­ships, gov­er­nance, and orga­ni­za­tion­al growth — always with a focus on build­ing busi­ness­es that devel­op peo­ple while deliv­er­ing strong com­mer­cial results.

Based in Van­cou­ver, Tam­sin recharges in the moun­tains and on the road — ski­ing in the win­ter, cycling in the sum­mer — and is a proud moth­er, phil­an­thropist, and devot­ed ani­mal lover.
