Tim’s Sto­ry

Tim­o­thy Schokking brings near­ly a decade of expe­ri­ence at Lawrence & Co to his work help­ing com­pa­nies – from nim­ble start-ups to glob­al multi­na­tion­als – design­ing and exe­cut­ing val­ue-dri­ven strate­gies that actu­al­ly stick.

His approach to coach­ing and con­sult­ing is shaped not only by aca­d­e­m­ic ground­ing (a BA in Eco­nom­ics and Busi­ness from York Uni­ver­si­ty, and an MBA in Cor­po­rate Finance and Inno­va­tion Man­age­ment from McMas­ter) but also by the on-the-ground expe­ri­ence that comes from lead­ing teams in both cor­po­rate and entre­pre­neur­ial settings. 

Before join­ing Lawrence & Co, he held roles span­ning HR, mar­ket­ing, oper­a­tions and strat­e­gy. These includ­ed stints at Gen­er­al Motors, SIR Corp, and Van Hes­sen BV, as well as lead­er­ship roles at the Clin­er Group and Lul­ule­mon, where he helped devel­op and oper­a­tional­ize inno­va­tion strategies.
